Fred Nicolaus is Golden Suits an indie folk/pop/Americana musician. Golden Suits have been compared to The National, Elliot Smith and Arcade Fire. He is influenced by Tom Petty, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen. Is It Wrong was the lead single for Golden Suits' second album, Kubla Khan (2016), and a song that Stereogum called “absolutely sublime” and “anthemic.” Is It Wrong is an impassioned, leap don't look, heart on your sleeve, indie-folk song.

“I don’t know how to tell you how strange it is to be getting older,
Kiss by kiss”
