Tiny Little Houses - Milo Tin

1.    Who are these merchants of melody?

Tiny Little Houses are an indie folk, pop, rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Playing together since 2014 Tiny Little Houses have one short player and four singles to their name. Milo Tin (March'16) is a stand alone single.

2. What kind of slop is the chef serving today?

Milo Tin isn't instant gratification. A mid-tempo indie pop rock song with a kooky, airy riff and arresting vocals. Milo Tin is indespensable indie that captures the heartland of Australia, wherever it is, in a melancholic song about gap years, nostalgia and finding yourself.

3. Who have Tiny Little Houses been compared to?

Indie Shuffle compared Tiny Little Houses to Built To Spill, Real Estate and Neutral Milk Hotel.

4. What is the good word from the fine folk in the press?
“A brilliantly melodic track” – NME.
“Jangly guitars and swirling pop riffs” – The AU Review.
“A beautiful crooner of a song” – Pile Rats.

5. Which bands have given the glimmer of genius to Tiny Little Houses?

Tiny Little Houses love 90’s lo-fi folk/rock bands in general and Neutral Milk Hotel, The Microphones, Modest Mouse and Elliott Smith in particular.

6. Why should I give MiloTin a crack?

Milo Tin captures the essence of Australian experience wrapped in a universal message and the vocals are deadly.

7. Do Tiny Little Houses have any more great tunes?

Every Man Knows His Plague And You Are Mine has shuffle and a stiff backbone.

8. Any more words fool?

NME put it best, “Triple J have been hammering new band Tiny Little Houses back in their native Australia.”

“I don’t wanna be a cultural cringe,
Don’t you miss the summer?”

The Big Moon are an alternative rock band from London, England. DIY compared The Big Moon to The Arctic Monkeys. The Road (Sept'15) is The Big Moon's third single and a tune The Line Of Best Fit felt “is a tangled web of riffs, church organs and Warpaint-y harmonies.” The Road is a chill track with bite from the guitar.

“Heaven help me, now I’ve got no good reason to stay”
