VANT - Fly-By Alien

1.    Who are these heroic bruisers?
VANT are a pivotal punk band from London, England. Rarking it up since 2014 and with three short players on their roll of honor, Fly-By Alien (Feb’16) comes belting off their third EP Fly-By Alien (Feb'16).

2. What kind of brickbat are VANT swinging?

Fly-By Alien is a killer punk tune with contrasting rhythms and a healthy serve for self-centred people blinded by the search for emphemeral pleasures. A banger.

3. Who do VANT sound somewhat similar to?

Pretty Vicious, Asylums and The Vines.

4. What have the saints of the fourth estate said about Fly-By Alien?
“Focuses it’s aggression so vehemently” – Noisy Vice.

“Sneers and spits against the apathy of his generation” – DIY.

“A maelstrom of irrepressible melody” – Piccadilly Records.

5. Which bands showed the way for VANT?
VANT get their fire from The Kinks, Fugazi, The Clash and Rage Against The Machine.

6. Why should I give Fly-By Alien a lash?
VANT are one of the hottest bands in England at the minute and the future of rock’n’roll. One of the very few bands who matter, Fly-By Alien continues VANT's fine tradition of rocking first and having a word to the wise later.

7. What other bangers are these heroes slinging?
Parking Lot, The Answer, and Do You Know? are a triumvirate of killer tunes that bang so hard they need to come with an orthopedic surgeons warning.

8. Any more words fool?
VANT have fronted for bands like Royal Blood, FIDLAR and The Bohicas and are taking Get Inuit out to fluff for them in April.

“If you are asleep but won’t dream,
You are a cog in the machine”

Hot Action Cop are a funky alternative rock band out of Nashville, Tennessee. Started in 2001 they have two long players under the bed. Their debut album Hot Action Cop (2003) was led by the single Fever For The Flava that became a soundtrack favorite and Sputnik Music said the band is “infamous for their funk-metal energy and copulation encouraging lyrics.” The men are good for a laugh and the music is the business.

“Gonna strip you down like a car in the barrio”
