Bad Blood reeks of piss and blood in a basement gig where the music is propelling a heaving mass of humanity toward divinity.

Bad Blood captures the gritty escence of garage rock and the moment that visceral music transcends this earthly realm and launches us into nirvana.

7. Do The Crispies have any more crackers?

Mercy isn't too shabby.

     8. Any more words chief?

The four band members all graduated from the same music school together at the same time and are all left-handed.

“We're gonna cough blood”

APES are a raw, gut punching band that have scored support slots for luminaries such as Royal Blood, Band Of Skulls and FIDLAR. Pull The Trigger (2014) is APES at their best; a tune with a cracking riff up front, a raw, stripped back sound and a massive chorus. Get some.

The Amazons are a band on the make and this is one of the brightest gems in their indie rock crown. The tunes cracks along with barely a pause to take breath. Champion.

7. What are The Amazons' other barn burners?

Stay With Me is the myth-maker, dragon-slayer and stuff of legend. Ultraviolet is bloody good too.

VANT - Karma Seeker

1.    Who are these rock heroes?

   2. How good is Karma Seeker

Karma Seeker is filler compared to some of VANT's previous red-hot efforts. It's all a bit waffley with Red Hot Chili Peppers verses and wank faux philosophical lyrics. But the tune is redeemed by a hard rocking chorus and all in all still rates as rock solid compared to the vast majority of their contemporaries output.

“Socially aware rock music with a philosophical edge” – Euphoriazine.

“The hell-raisers are on typically raucous form” – DIY.

   5. Which bands have influenced VANT?

The prime movers are The Kinks, Fugazi, The Clash and Rage Against The Machine.

   6. Why should I give Karma Seeker a whip past the ears?

Because it's not shit. From  a band as exciting as VANT all installments on their path to rock'n'roll immortality must be exalted. Get yer snout in the trough.

   7. What other belters have VANT got in the cupboard?

Fly-By Alien, Parking Lot and Do You Know Me? are all of the highest order.

   8. Any more words peanut?

    Not a dilly.

“If you search you’ll destroy what you miss”

Drive me back to Hamilton”

Eytan and The Embassy were an indie pop band from New York. They played from 2009 - 2014, released a handful of songs, licensed them for T.V and commercials and then their founder Eytan Orlon went off to make big coin from apps for popular band releases. I shit you not. Eytan and The Embassy had fifteen minutes of fame with their gimmicky video for Everything Changes but it's Weekend Warrior (2014) that is the diamond in the rough. A blood-pumping, jogging playlist song with the ultimate feel-good vibe (and a small side of urine extraction).

“There are days when I love everybody I see,
When I sing to the world and it’s smiling at me”
